@julqw2 I agree, stay away from conartists like your friend. They are clearly dragging down Amway's bad name! It is (1) against the rules, and clearly fraudulent, to advertise the Amway business opportunity as a "Job" (2) it costs way less than $300 to "sign up" with Amway (3) Amway offers a full moneyback guarantee if you're not happy. So yes, stay away from scammers like julqw2's friend. Stick with those that build Amway businesses with integrity, and report the scammers to Amway.

sadly, more people are getting involved in MLMs like Quixtar/Amway because of hard times; I was promised a part-time job there by my "friend" and I decided to give it a try as I was laid off...After the very first rally I realized the whole thing was a scam, so it only cost me the sign up to get out ($300 or so) which is sad. People, stay away from these con-artists!!!

Thank you, Rich and Jay for making this great opportunity available for all those who are willing to build a business of their own. Now I dream really BIG because I know my rewards is proportional to my efforts. And I've made up my mind, by Sept 2014 it's either I live my life by design or I die in the process. Freedom, Family,Rewards and Hope. I am very new, and I haven't tasted any of these yet. But it sure helped me to see who my genuine friends are...that is something I learnt when I started my first step with AmWay and how many slaps I received from closest friends.....at least I learnt who my friends are
